  • Bible Classes/ Life Groups

A range of mid week and weekend Bible classes and Life Groups. More information here.

  • Creative Activities

Tuesdays (during school term) throughout the year, with community classes in Computing, Crocheting, Knitting, Card-making, sewing, painting, freestyle craft, guitar playing, Scrapbooking, beading and Vegetarian Cooking. Cost is just $3 per class. Tuesdays from 9:45am-12noon. Currently there are between 120 and 160 enrolled. Coordinator Kelly Richards and Kathy Ramsey.

  • Boomers 55+ Social Group

Early in 2011 the Boomers Social Group was born for those 55+. Regular fun activities are a great way to meet new people and spend some quality time together. Coordinated by Rose Asher and Chris Bosomworth. 

  • Mission Projects - 2012 Cambodia

Following a successful mission in 2010 which saw 30 people (mostly youth and teens) from the church to Cambodia, another trip is being planned for 2012. A church building for the people in Thom Pong was completed early in 2011, and the 2012 trip will focus on further community development. Coordinated by Angus and Jo Gowans.

  • Personal Ministries

Community initiatives covering training sponsorships, welfare/ Care, health projects, a Signs Magazine distribution programme, and a DVD resource library for free loan. Plans for the coming year include CHIP (Coronary Health Improvement Programme), and a QUIT smoking programme. A food bank has been set up to assist needy families in the community.

  • Playgroup

An exciting new playgroup has been launched in 2011 run by mums from across the Northside region. For parents and their children, Wednesdays 10am-12noon. (during School Term) in the Teen Shed. Gold Coin Donation. Coordinator Jean Meighan.

  • Socials & Camps

Monthly socials and regular camps are organised to help the church family get to know each other better and enjoy some fun and fellowship. The annual church camp in 2010 was held in February and hosted over 180 people. Coordinator Desre Arnold.

  • Family Ministries & CABSDA Connect

Family Ministries looks after welcoming visitors and new families into the fellowship and helping them 'find their feet', in the fellowship as they make new friends, as well as assist with any practical needs. Family ministries run a vibrant welcoming and CARE ministry which includes, visitation, gift flowers, cards and food parcels. Their ministry extends in three main areas - those within the church family, those visiting the church, and those unable to attend the church for any reason.

  • Women's Ministries

Women's Ministries hosts inspiring speakers and events that minister especially to women.

  • Men's Ministries

Men's ministries coordinate monthly events and/or get-togethers for men.
