Children's Ministries (0-12yrs)
Weekly on Saturdays 9:30-10:30am, the weekly children Sabbath School classes each week contain songs, crafts, quizzes, games and Bible stories.
Children are invited to join their parents during the church service where there will be a children's story for them.
- Beginners (0-3yrs) in the Beginners Room
- Kindy Kids (4-5yrs) in the Kindy Kids Room
- Primary (6-9yrs) in the Primary Room
- Juniors (10-11yrs) in the Junior Room
Pre-Adventurers (4-5yrs at 1 March)
Adventurers (6-9yrs at 1 March)
Adventurers is a monthly program for 6 to 9 year old children, in which children participate in adventurous activities, craft, learning, games and developing life-skills. Adventurers is on the 3rd Saturday afternoon of each month, and hosts a number of camps throughout the year. Click on the logo for more information.
Pathfinders (10-16yrs at 1 March)
Pathfinders, a programs similar to Scouts, is designed for 10-16-year-olds to socialise with each other as well as learn and develop life skills. Run by qualified and committed leaders of the church, Pathfinders participate in a range of activities, including -
- abseiling
- canoeing
- camping and hiking
- crafts
They also learn to develop important life values such as teamwork, commitment and self-respect.
Honour badges can be earned for completing requirements on specific topics in the areas or nature, craft and recreation, and at the end of each year Pathfinder clubs present awards to Pathfinders on achievement of various skills. Pathfinder meetings are 4:30-8:30pm monthly on the 3rd Saturday afternoon/ evening of the month, with additional meetings and Camps as advertised.
Playgroup - Little Groovers
In 2011 a new playgroup commenced, organised by mothers and teachers living in the North-Brisbane region. For parents and their children, Wednesdays 9:30am-11:30noon. (during School Term) in the Teen Shed. Leader Jean Meighan.
